Had a clear bra put in and I wasn’t disappointed in the service, I’d recommend them for anybody that wants a clear bra their vehicle .
Paint protection film is a thick, self-healing urethane film that shields your paint from rock chips, scratches, and UV damage. Autoplex installs precision computer-cut PPF at 5 Colorado locations, with coverage options from a partial hood to full vehicle. Every job uses our LLumar films that are designed to outlast the lifetime of your vehicle, are guaranteed for 5 years (12 year for our LLumar Valor film) and are invisible when professionally installed.
Paint protection film — also called clear bra or PPF — is a thick, optically clear thermoplastic urethane film applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. Think of it as invisible armor over your paint.
When a rock or piece of road debris hits a PPF-protected surface, it impacts the film – not your paint. Your paint underneath stays pristine. On premium self-healing films, light surface scratches in the film heal on their own when exposed to heat.
Self-healing explained: LLumar® PPF uses heat-activated polymer relaxation — when the film warms in sunlight or with warm water, the urethane layer returns to its original flat state, erasing light swirls and surface marks without any treatment.
Colorado roads are brutal on paint. A single chip on a hood or fender can cost $300–$600 to repair properly. PPF is the only way to prevent that damage from happening in the first place.
LLumar® is developed and manufactured by Eastman Performance Films — one of the world’s largest specialty film manufacturers with over 65 years in film technology. Every film Autoplex installs is backed by a LLumar® manufacturer warranty. Autoplex is an authorized LLumar® SelectPro dealer.

4. Installation: Film panels wet-applied, squeegeed, trimmed, and edge-sealed at panel breaks.

Wait at least 48–72 hours after installation before washing. After that, wash normally. Avoid pressure washing directly at seam edges. Ceramic coating over PPF makes car washing even faster.
Install time depends on coverage: partial hood (18–24in) takes 1–2 hours; a full hood takes 2–3 hours; a full front clip takes 3–5 hours; full vehicle coverage takes 1–2 days. Times vary by vehicle complexity. Your Autoplex installer will confirm timing when you book.
The LLumar® 5-year manufacturer warranty covers yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling, and delamination under normal use and care. It does not cover damage from improper installation by non-authorized installers or failure to follow care instructions. Autoplex is an authorized LLumar® installer.
Colorado’s highways will chip unprotected paint. PPF is best applied to paint that’s still in good condition – every day you wait is a day chips can happen.
